Members and the Cathaoirleach of Wicklow Municipal District, Cllr John Snell, thanked all the residents associations throughout the district who participate in the management of their local authority estates and acknowledged the work of these voluntary committees who selflessly give their time to the benefit of their community.

Cllr Snell encouraged more residents to apply and avail of the grants. He said: “It is widely known that resident participation is a key element in the successful management of our local authority estates and by forming resident Associations/Committees it enables residents to have more of a say in the running of their estate and with the grant can make it possible to decide on and follow through with projects and improvements.”

This annual funding scheme is advertised in January. Application forms can be requested from Wicklow Municipal District, Town Hall, Market Square, Wicklow A67 YO18 – 0404 20173 wicklowmd@wicklowcoco.ie
