A walk of art: Bray to Greystones cliff hike named Ireland’s ‘Favourite Attraction’
The stunning cliff walk linking Bray and Greystones has been named Ireland’s ‘Favourite Local Attraction’.
The hugely popular county Wickow walking route came out tops in the Irish Independent Reader Travel Awards 2020.
The cliff walk, which stretches from 6km-9km, depending on where you start, was described by some readers as “just the right distance”.
“Most walks tire you, but this one energises you,” one said.
Another said the hike “energises you in a way no other walk can”, with “amazing views” over coast and cliffs, and a path that is “kept clean and tidy”.
Readers praised the easy access to the route, with both Wicklow towns on the Dart line, and lots of food and drink options at either end.
