Best foot forward: Greystones’ Sinead survives dreaded DWTS dance-off
B*Witched Sinéad O’Carroll was made sweat for her Dancing with the Stars future, coming through the first dance-of this season.
Instead it was former Big-Brother winner and TV presenter Brian Dowling and his partner Laura Nolan to become the first couple eliminated in a dance-off, the judges choosing to save Sinéad and her partner Ryan McShane.
Dowling’s elimination now sees seven couples return next week and out in front again, well at least with the judges, are RTE 2FMs Lottie Ryan and partner Pasquale La Rocca and Fair City star Ryan Andrews and Giulia Dotta.
The judges were glowing in praise of both Wicklow’s O’Carroll after she and Ryan McShane’s samba left them stunned.
Judge Lorraine Barry said Sinéad “worked that body for five days and I salute you,” a theme picked up on by judge Julian Benson picked up on when he said it was a “very sexy and sultry” performance which picked up 24 points.
It was somewhat of a surprise they ended up in a dance-off but the public spoke – and Sinéad answered with all three judges saving O’Carroll and McShane.
