Developer seeks planning permission for 10 more houses in Delgany
A developer who was granted planning permission for an 82 home development in a county Wicklow town has returned to the local authority looking for permission to expand the development.
Gorteen Way Ltd have lodged amended plans to a previous application which now sees ten extra houses requested and amendments to layout of the original permitted dwellings.
The new application lodged with Wicklow County Council asks for permission to build 92 homes on the site at Richview House, Bellevue Hill, Delgany.
The amended development will consist of 92 new single-storey, two-storey and three-storey dwellings including five four-bedroom detached homes, 14 four-bed semi-detached dwellings, 44 three-bed semi-detached dwellings, 28 three-bed terraced homes and a two-bed terraced house.
The application sees minor amendments to previously permitted boundary walls and fences, including the previously permitted crèche, surface car parking spaces, bin storage, cycle parking and external play area, retention of two existing homes, proposed vehicular and pedestrian entrances to the development off Bellevue Hill.
As part of the plans the developer has requested associated signage, a footpath link on Bellevue Hill to Delgany Village and road junction upgrade works at Bellevue Hill and R762.
