Driving instructor caught giving lessons to 14-year-old on Wicklow public road
A Dublin cyclist was sent home with a €40 fine after he was caught breaking a red light in Bray over the weekend.
The cyclist was one of two “notable departures” in what local gardai described as “very high levels of compliance” with the Covid-19 travel restrictions.
In the other case, a “driving instructor” was caught giving lessons to a 14-year-old students on public roads. The instructor is due to appear court soon charged in connection with the incident.
Wicklow gardai have again urged people “stay safe” and to “stay at home” over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
