EXCLUSIVE: Not lovin’ it … McDonald’s denies it is moving from Bray Town Hall
The franchise holder of McDonald’s in Bray has denied that the fast food outlet is moving from its current home in Bray Town Hall.
Rumours have been circulating in the town in recent weeks that the lease had expired on the premises and that McDonald’s was relocating to the new Bray Town Centre which is due to open later this year.
“There is absolutely no truth in these rumours,” franchisee John Gallagher told WicklowNow.ie.
“We hope to be to be in the same building in the Town Hall for years to come – we’re absolutely delighted with our customer base and staff in the Bray store.”
The fast food outlet first opened in Bray Town Hall in 1997 and was voted as one of the top ten coolest McDonald’s anywhere in the world.
Built in 1881, the Town Hall is one of the most distinctive buildings in the town and is home to Bray Municipal District meetings which take place upstairs.
