Families from Dublin and Carlow sent packing after travelling to Wicklow’s Genmalure
Families from Tallaght, Blanchardstown and Carlow were sent back home after being stopped by gardai at Baravore in Glenmalure.
Two of the drivers also received fines for breaking traffic rules.
“Baravore in Glenmalure today. Families from Tallaght, Blanchardstown and Carlow,” a statement on the Garda Siochana Wicklow Facebook page said.
“Sent home by Gardaí. Two got FCPN’s for road traffic related matters. Please heed the restrictions. They have not been lifted.
“We will be out over the weekend continuing to explain, educate and encourage compliance. We appreciate all the people who are complying.”
