Father-of-three who died following stabbing in Gorey named as Wicklow man Philip Doyle
The man who died following a stabbing in Gorey in the early hours of Sunday morning has been named as Philip Doyle from Wicklow.
The 33-year-old, father-of-three, was originally from Bray.
Gardaí were called to the scene in a house in Gorey just before 2am where they found Mr Doyle in the front garden of a house in Ramsgate Village estate with what appeared to be stab wounds.
He was pronounced dead shortly after.
A woman in her 30s has been arrested and is being held at Gorey Garda Station.
Mr Doyle’s body has been removed from the scene.
