Green light for revamp of Circle K fuel station at Bray’s Brennanstown

A fuel and forecourt giant has been granted planning permission for an ambitious new expansion at one of the most prominent roadside locations in Wicklow.

Ard Services Limited, acting on behalf of Hill’s Circle K Service Station was granted planning permission by Wicklow County Council for its plans which will transform the filling station at Killarney Road roundabout at Brennanstown near Bray.

The overhaul will see the existing Hill’s car sales showroom flattened to make way for a much larger retail area, restaurant and café area, forecourt and parking in its place.

Car sales will remain on the site as part of the plans, with business set to continue in Hill’s large showroom adjacent to the Killarney Road. Only the small showroom on the Ballywaltrim Lane side of the site would be demolished.

As part of the plans to redevelop the site at Junction 7, the Bray exit of the N11/M11,  extra customer seating would be created, new customer toilets provided, and the provision of new offices and a new staff area.
