Lights, camera but very little action – stunning drone image of deserted Wicklow GAA pitch
Normally at this time of the year, GAA pitches the length and breadth of the county would be hives of activity but due to the Covid-19 pandemic they are empty.
One local drone videographer has captured this stunning image of Kilmacanogue GAA pitch on the side of Sugarloaf Mountain with its lights on but with nobody home.
“I just happened to be taking images of the area when I spotted the lights on in GAA pitch but without any players,” Cian Carroll of Aerial Media 360 told WicklowNow.ie.
“Normally the place would be packed with players and coaches either training or playing matches but due to the circumstances it is eerily empty.”
Cian also took beautiful image of Sugarloaf, again without a sinner to be seen.
