Missing Wicklow woman boarded a flight to the UK recently: family
The search for missing Wicklow woman Janet Carroll has been extended to the UK.
Janet’s family have revealed the 45-year-old boarded a flight to Heathrow on Wednesday, March 11.
They believe she may be in the Newmarket area as she had previously spoken about travelling there in search of work.
A family spokesperson said: “Janet loves horse and they [family] believe she may be looking for work or lodging in this equine area. Her family are very concerned for her welfare and want her back home to her horses.”
Janet’s family became concerned for her welfare after she failed to meet up with a friend last week.
Janet, who is from Glencree, is described as 5ft 4in in height, with blue eyes and blonde hair. She is approximately “size 12-14” and had recently lost weight.
Her family has appealed to anyone in Ireland or the UK who has seen Janet to contact Bray Garda Station on 01 666 5300.
