Plans for 126 new apartments at Bray Harbour
Plans have been lodged with An Bord Pleanála for 126 apartments at Bray Harbour on the site of the current Harbour Industrial Estate.
The application has been made in the name of Joseph Tynan under Strategic Housing Development legislation which means it can bypass Wicklow County Council.
Since legislation came into effect in July 2017, applications for planning permission for strategic housing developments (100-plus housing units, 200-plus student bed spaces and shared accommodation) are made directly to An Bord Pleanála.
The application seeks “Demolition of existing structures, construction of 126 no. apartments and associated site works.”
A decision on the case is due to be decided by May 20.
