Plans for 17 new family homes in county Wicklow town
Plans for a new development of 17 family homes on the outskirts of a county Wicklow town have been received by the local council
Developer Daniel Esmonde has applied to Wicklow County Council for planning permission to build the new development at Ballygannon in Rathdrum.
The development, if granted permission would see the construction of 17 family three-bedroom homes on a site adjoining the existing Stewart’s Hall development.
If given the go-ahead the development would comprise of 12 three-bedroom, two-storey, semi-detached houses, four three-bedroom, two-storey, terraced house, and one single-storey three-bedroom home.
The entrance to the 0.60 hectare site would be through the existing network set up for Stewart’s Hall, which is connected to the Ballinderry Road.
A decision on the plans is expected from the local authority by early July and submissions are being accepted from the public up until June 13.
