Primary Care Centre in Bray to be finished in weeks – Wicklow TD
The Primary Care Centre on Bray’s Killarney Road is expected to be complete in the coming weeks, a Wicklow TD has said.
“The new Bray Primary Care Centre is now largely complete,” Minister for Health Simon Harris said. “The GP practice has relocated to the facility and the HSE is currently equipping the centre for other services to commence in the coming weeks.
“The Meals on Wheels will be moving into the centre in the coming weeks and it is expected to have addiction services relocated by June and other services will be July/August. Diagnostic services will take a little longer.
The Bray Primary Care Centre will include the following services when it is fully operational:
- Carlton Clinic GP Practice
- Public Health Nursing
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech & Language Therapy
- Addiction Treatment Services
- Social Work
“I am excited at how the Bray PCC will transform the delivery of healthcare in North Wicklow,” he added.
“Crucially it will also be able to house an X-ray facility which will ensure we can access x-rays in the community without needing to go to hospitals. It is badly needed and I am delighted to have been in a position to deliver this for our community.”
