Pure class: Pupils from Wicklow school include hand-written letters in dignity packs for homeless
Kind-hearted pupils from Bray’s St Patrick’s Loreto primary school have started including a personal touch to dignity packs for the homeless.
The students are now putting in hand-written personalised letters to the recipients of the dignity packs, which also include basic items such as toothbrushes and other toiletries.
“The kids are writing letters and it’s made me cry already,” Molly Comish, the founder of Dignity Packs Ireland said, told WicklowNow.ie.
“They’re just so beautiful. They are saying inspirational quotes, telling whoever gets the bag that they are loved and they are cared for.”
The pupils came up with the idea after the student council raised vital funds for the dignity packs by running a no-uniform day before more than 500 pupils put the packs together.
