Sadly missed by his family, wife Lily (née McDonald) children Patrick, Bridget, Nigel, Liz, Thomas, Nicola and Luke, sisters Lucy, Kathleen and Rosie, brother Paul, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and large circle of friends.

O’HANLON,Dr. Brian Dermot (95 years) (late of Sandymount and Clacton-on-Sea) (peacefully), at his home in Bray, Co. Wicklow – January 1, 2020, youngest son of the late James and Anna Marie O’Hanlon, Sandymount. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Tamsin in Australia, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, great-grand-nephews, great-grand-nieces and in-laws in Ireland and Australia and by his friends and neighbours.

He will repose at his home in Bray on Sunday (January 5) from 4.15 o’c., followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, arriving at 5.30 o’c. Jerry Shannon, of Church Road, Newtownmountkennedy and late of Killiskey, Ashford, Co Wicklow, January 2nd, 2020, peacefully, at Loughlinstown Hospital and previously in the loving care of the staff at Roseville Nursing Home Bray. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis and sons Declan and Declan. Sadly missed by his devoted family – sons Jerry, David, Brendan, Maurice, Adrian, Patrick, Damian, James and Jason, daughters Anne, Linda, Patricia and Mary, brothers Christy and Brendan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and large circle of friends.
Reposing at his son Brendan’s home (rear of 13 Church Road, Newtownmountkennedy) on Friday evening January 3rd, from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10:30, walking to St Joseph’s Church, Newtownmountkennedy, arriving for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Priestnewtown Cemetery, Kilquade. On the 31st of December 2019 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin John A. (Seán) formerly of Derry City. Sadly missed by his loving wife Maura, sons Aidan and Richard, brothers Michael, Vincent, Eugene, Kevin and Martin, sisters Clare and Rosemary, daughter in law Deborah, sister in law Teresa, grandchildren Sophie, Charlie and Will, his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Reposing at O’Connor’s Funeral Home, Dingle on Sunday evening from 3.30 p.m. followed by removal at 5 p.m. to St. Mary’s Church, Dingle. Funeral Monday after 11.30 a.m. Requiem Mass to St. Brendan’s Cemetery, Dingle.


Rita Kilbride (née Kelly)
Kilcoole, Wicklow / Greystones, Wicklow

Rita Kilbride née Kelly of Main Street Kilcoole and formerly of Killincarrig, Greystones who passed away 1st January 2020 in her 91st year, peacefully at St Colman’s Hospital Rathdrum in the presence of her family. Dearly loved wife of the late Ned. Rita will be remembered with great love and affection by her daughter Phyllis and son in law Ivan and by her adored grandchildren Sarah, Claire, Maria and Yvonne, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, brothers Eamonn and Peadar, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rita is predeceased by her sister Beth and brothers Sean, Pat, Joey and Jimmy.

Rita will repose at the William Doyle Funeral Home Kilcoole from 5pm until 7pm on Friday 3rd January. Removal on Saturday 4th January to St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole arriving for funeral Mass at 12.30pm followed by interment in Kilquade New Cemetery.

Killackey, William Anthony Francis (Frank) late of Melbourne, Australia and Bray, Co. Wicklow. Died peacefully in Australia on 28th Dec 2019. Beloved husband of the late Carmel (nee Kelly), father of Eoin, Sinead, Francis and Fiona, proud grandfather of nine, and also brother of Cecil and Paddy (dec). Mourned by his children, grandchildren, brother, daughters and sons in law, sisters and brother in law, in Australia, Ireland and the USA, as well as extended family in Ireland, Australia, the USA and Canada. Funeral Mass will take place in Australia this Saturday, 4th January 2020.

Brian O’Reilly, Ashford, Co. Wicklow and late of Bray and Newcastle, Co. Dublin. January 2nd 2020. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in St. James Hospital after a short illness. Will be very sadly missed by his wife and best friend Mary, daughter Fiona, son Rory, son-in-law Sean, daughter-in-law Keah, his six grandchildren, Aisling, Eoin, Darragh, Tkai, Ramsey and Indy, his brother Bob, sisters Morine, Geraldine, Patricia and Helen, nieces, nephews, relatives and his colleagues and friends from Murphy’s Cabs.

Brian will be reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray on Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Their will be a celebration of Brian’s Life in The Victorian Chapel in Mount Jerome Crematorium on Saturday 4th January at 2.30pm. Family flowers only donations if desired to The Irish Cancer Society, Donation box at Funeral Home and Crematorium.

Ronnie Pyke of Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day, in the loving care of Roseville Nursing Home, Bray. Beloved husband of the late Christine (Topsy), loved and loving father of Valerie, Ronnie Jnr, Derek, Paul and Yvonne and brother of David, Hilda, Phyllis and Kathleen; he will be sadly missed by his daughters, sons, sons-in-law John and JJ, daughters-in-law Catherine, Hazel and Noemi, his 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service on Monday 6th January, 2020 at 11.00am in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, followed by private cremation.
