Maria Elena HERMITA

Maria Elena Hermita of Greystones, Co.Wicklow and the Philippines, passed away peacefully on 6th July, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Cherished daughter of Juanarira, dearly loved wife of Miguel, devoted mother of Jurdy and Jackie, she will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, colleagues and friends.

A private family Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday (9th July) at 1.00pm in the Holy Rosary Church, La Touche Road, Greystones which may be viewed online at greystonesparish.ie. Following the Mass, the committal will take place in Mount Jerome Crematorium at 3.00pm which can be viewed by clicking here. John (Gus) KEARNEY
The Bank, Rathnew

John (Gus) Kearney (The Bank, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow) 3rd July 2020, suddenly at home. Predeceased by his loving parents. Sadly missed by his loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and many friends.

Due to the current HSE guidelines Gus’s Funeral Mass will be private for family only. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time.

Moanmore, Castleisland, Kerry/Bray, Wicklow

Colm Kirwan, Moanmore, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Bray and Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. Retired Deputy Principal of Castleisland Community College and former teacher of the Wicklow V.E.C., former member of the executive of the Teachers Union of Ireland and former member of the Wicklow County Council.

Beloved son of the late Sean and Mairín O’Ciardubháin. Unexpectedly, on July 7th 2020, after a very short illness, in the presence of his wife and family at the Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, best friend and soulmate Brenda Tangney, brothers Eamon and Domo, sisters Nuala, Grainne and Neasa, mother-in-law Mary Tangney, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, ex colleagues at the Castleisland Community College, a wide circle of friends, especially the members of the Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club.

A private family funeral will take place for Colm R.I.P. on Thursday afternoon at 1.15pm. The funeral cortège will depart his residence at Moanmore and travel up the Main Street of Castleisland, out along the Limerick Road and stop at the Desmonds GAA pitch, for a short tribute from the club. The funeral will then depart for a Private Cremation at 4pm at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.

Eric McGregor of New York & late Soldiers Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow. July 4th 2020, peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family in New York.

Eric is predeceased by his father Alex and survived by his wife Kathleen, daughter Shannen, mother Elizabeth (Betty), siblings Karen, Noel, Alison & Alex, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces & large circle of friends.

Eric’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Barnaba’s Church, Bronx, New York on Thursday July 9th at 5pm (Irish time). The Funeral Mass will be streamed on St. Barnabas Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/stbarnabascatholicchurch/

A Memorial Mass to celebrate Eric’s life will take place privately on Saturday, July 11th, at 11am in St. Fergal’s Church, Ballywaltrim, Bray.

Kristin O’Donovan of Bray, Co. Wicklow, died on 6th July, 2020, gently at home.

A private Funeral Service will take place at Colliers Funeral Home, Bray on Thursday, 9th July at 11.30am, this may be viewed online by clicking here. Following the service, burial will take place in Enniscorthy Burial Ground, at approx. 2.00pm.
