REST IN PEACE: Wicklow Death Notices

Wilkinson John ( Main Street, Carnew,Co. Wicklow) 28th July 2020.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Molly, much loved father of Cyril, Richard, Mary and Denis, devoted grandfather of Molly and Reuben, brother of Laurence, Benny and Fr Pat MCCJ and the late Fr Denis MCCJ, Tommy, Una, Mary and Nancy.

Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Doreen and Clare, Son-in-law Pádraig, sister-in-law Marilyn, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and his wide circle of friends.

Due to Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place for family and close friends.

Funeral Mass will take place at 2.00 pm on Thursday in Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary church Carnew followed by interment in Tomacork cemetery.

Walter Armstrong of Roundwood and formerly of Ashford who passed away suddenly on Saturday, 25th July 2020. Son of the late William John and Annie Maria Armstrong. He will be sadly missed by his loving son Jack, daughter Laura and their mother Ann, brothers Reg and Wesley, sisters Phyllis and Dianna, partner Juddy, grandchildren Harriet and George, son in law Scott, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Walter will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday. A family funeral service limited to 50 due to guidelines will take place at 12 noon on Friday at Killiskey Parish Church, Nun’s Cross followed by burial in the churchyard adjoining Glenealy Parish Church (all welcome)

Lia passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday 26th July 2020. Loving and much loved mother of Caoimhe. Beloved daughter of Mairead and Aidan. Lia will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Caoimhe, Mairead and Aidan and by her brothers Killian, Eoin and Eamonn, sisters-in-law Liz and Aoife, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

St. Columcille`s Terrace, Bray

John Moorehouse of St. Columcille’s Terrace, Bray passed away peacefully on Monday, 27th July, 2020 in the loving care of his family and the staff at Roseville Nursing Home, Bray, beloved husband of the late Ann and loving father of the late Sandra; he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Noeleen, sons John and Mark, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday, 29th July, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. A private Funeral Mass will take place in St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray on Thursday morning at 10.00am and this may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/braystpeters. Burial immediately afterwards in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

Katalin Szakal, late of Laragh, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Dunaújváros, Hungary, died on Saturday, 25th July, 2020, suddenly but peacefully, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin; sadly missed by her parents, brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew in Hungary and by her partner Attila, the Lynham family and her colleagues and friends.
