REST IN PEACE: Wicklow Death Notices

Thomas ( Finn) CORKISH
Wicklow Town

Thomas (Finn) Corkish of Castlefield in Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday 8th August 2020. Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Maura and his brothers Stephen and Bernie. Dearly loved husband of Mary and much loved and loving father of Ger, Brenda, Jenny, Debbie, Finn and Ian. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings Mary, Patricia, Brenda, Ernie, Joe, Carol, John Paul, and Denise, extended family and friends.

Removal from the family home on Tuesday afternoon at 1.30am at walking pace to St Patrick’s Church arriving for 2pm funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Due to current restrictions the funeral Mass will be private for family only and can be viewed on www.wicklowparish.ie

William (Willie) DOYLE
Greystones

William (Willie) Doyle of La Touche Close, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, former Station Master Greystones Train Station. August 7th 2020, slipped away peacefully in his sleep, in the loving care of Karen & the dedicated team at Greystones Nursing Home. Predeceased by his beloved wife & best friend of 65 years Gertie (née Flynn) sister Margaret & brothers Jimmy, Jack, Paddy, Gerry & Richard. Sadly missed by his loving family, siblings Kevin, Mary Dicker, Peter, Larry & Ann Lang, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, close friends & neighbours.

HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings will apply to Willie’s funeral to be held at Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, at 1pm on Tuesday, August 11th, after which he will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery.

The mass will be streamed live on the church webcam http://www.greystonesparish.ie

Please note that social distance must be observed at all times.

Mary KAVANAGH (née Hender)
Wicklow Town/Ashford

Mary Kavanagh née Hender of Birkdale Dunbur Road in Wicklow Town and late of Ashford who passed away peacefully on Friday 7th August 2020. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy and daughter Aoibheann. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons Michael and Everett, brother Brian, sisters, Sr Angela, Ina and Carmel, daughter in laws Joanne and Mei-Ling, grandchildren Lyndsey, Sophia, Amy, Tara and Collins and great grandson Tiernan, extended family and friends.

Removal from Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town on Tuesday morning at 10.30am at walking pace to St Patrick’s Church arriving for 11am funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Bray

Laurence Gilmore Bray Co. Wicklow. (Late of Maxol) August 8th. 2020. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of the staff of Blackrock Hospice. Beloved son of the late Wally and Sheila, brother of the late Teresa (McManus) and Dolores. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his partner Mary, brothers Eugene, Sean and Gerald, sisters Maria and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his 19 nieces and nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass for family and close friends will take place on Tuesday, 11th August, at 11.30am in The Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray and will be streamed live on the church webcam. Followed by private cremation. No flowers please, donations in lieu to Purple House, donation box at church. House private.
