REST IN PEACE: Wicklow Death Notices

Denis (Dinny) COPELAND
South Green, Arklow

Copeland, South Green, Arklow, Co. Wicklow 11th August 2020, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin. Denis (Dinny), beloved husband of Una (née Byrne) and loving father of Donnacha and Suzanne (Murphy), adored grandad of John, Siobhán, Sineád, Niamh, Colm, Eoghan, Leah, Shauna, Andrea, Susan and the late Damian jr., father-in-law of Damian and Teresa (recently deceased). He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren Ryan and Charlie, son-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

We appreciate all the love and support from our family and friends. As we are legally bound, to follow the guidelines set out for us by government, it is necessary for our beloved Dinny to have a private funeral, if you wish you can join in the celebration of his reception prayers on Thursday evening at 7pm and his funeral Mass at 10am on Friday morning via http://www.arklowparish.ie/webcam/

Kathleen CASEY (née Bentley)
Mountrath, Laois/Arklow, Wicklow

Kathleen Casey, (née Bentley), S.R.N. S.C.M. Mountrath, Co.Laois, formerly of Arklow, Co.Wicklow, August 10th 2020 (peacefully). Dear wife of the late Joseph and mother of the late Michael. Much loved mother of Esther, Richard, Dominic, Joseph and Timothy, loving grandmother of Siobhán, Seosaimhín, Dáire, Kate, Eoin, Niamh, Shane and Calum. Sadly missed by her extended family, daughters-in-law Peigí, Siobhán, Fiona, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Given the current exceptional circumstance and to protect the welfare of everyone who knew her, a private funeral, with immediate family only, will take place at 11am on Thursday morning in St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath and can be viewed via the following link – https://mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-fintans followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.

Thomas (Tommy) FITZPATRICK
St John’s Villas, Arklow

Formerly of Clonpadden. Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of St. Colman’s Hospital, Rathdrum. Son of the late Anne & Tom Fitzpatrick much loved brother of Anne, Frankie & the late Jimmy & Kathleen. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours & many friends.

In accordance with government guidelines, Tommy’s funeral will take place privately. If you wish you may join in the celebration of his funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 10am via the Arklow Parish Webcam. Tommy will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.
