Rita (Margaret) Castles, nee Stanley, Coolagh, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Parkmore, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and Ballinaclash, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.

Peacefully at her home on Saturday, 15th August 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jack. Deeply loved by her sorrowing family, sons John, Ian and Andrew, daughter Audrey, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Wilfred, sister Adelaide, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, 18th August, at 2pm in St. Saviour’s Church, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. Burial will take place afterwards in Ballinatone Churchyard. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care team. Donations can be made through Molloy’s Funeral Directors. House strictly private please.

Sylvia COONEY
Rathdrum

COONEY, Sylvia (Rathdrum) August 14th 2020 (peacefully) in the tender care of the doctors and nurses in the Mater Hospital and the Daughters of Charity. Beloved and special daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Glendalough). Sleeping now and sadly missed (but so grateful for her living) by her sister Elisabeth, brothers Tony and Des, brother-in-law Kevin (Roberts) sisters-in-law Kathryn and Catherine, nieces Kirsten, Ruth and Jill, nephews Steven, Paul and Niall, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, her special families, friends and carers in Lohunda and Springlawn and her many kind friends in Rathdrum where she grew up. Predeceased by her niece Jenny.

In accordance with government guidance regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place at Mount Jerome Crematorium on Wednesday, August 19th, at 11.15 am. which will be live streamed on the following link: www.vimeo.com/event/139639. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to RESPECT.

Joan SAVAGE (née Cullen)
Tinnapark, Kilpedder

Peacefully, on the 14th August, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Beloved wife of Richard and much loved mother of Sandra, Derek, Tina and Andrew. She will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Samuel, Jade, Amy, Eoin, Kate and Cian, and her daughter in law Nuala. Deeply missed by her sister Ann, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends.

Due to current restrictions, Joan’s Funeral Mass will be private for family only at 12 noon on Monday at St. Mochonog’s Church, Kilmacanogue, followed by private cremation in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
