MICHEL – Claus, (Tinna Park House, Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow), 13th April 1939 – 15th August 2020. Much adored by family and friends in Ireland, Germany, Thailand, France, Ibiza, Spain, Lebanon, Argentina, USA and UK.
A celebration of Claus’s wonderful life will be held at Tinna Park, when safe travel is again possible. In lieu of flowers please plant a tree and name it Claus… The Tree Man.

Gladys BYRNE (née O’Brien)
Gladys Byrne (nee O’Brien) Bray Co. Wicklow. August 25th. 2020. Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late William, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Jacqueline, Adrienne, Francis and Deborah, sons-in- law Trevor and Keith, grandchildren Sean and his wife Julie, Rhys, Jaimie, Josh and Flynn, brother Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A private family funeral will take place at 11am in St. Fergal’s Church on Thursday, 27th August, followed by interment in Springfield Cemetery.

Peter Guerin, Assumpta Park, Shankill, Co. Dublin and late of Wolfe Tone Sq., Bray, Co. Wicklow, August 24th 2020. Peacefully at Blackrock Hospice. Husband of the late Breda (née Ashmore). Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ann, his children Stephen, Yvonne and Derek, sister Ann, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, step family, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Removal on Thursday morning, August 27th, at 11 from Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray, walking to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray arriving for private family Funeral Mass at 11.30am which will be streamed live on the church webcam, followed by interment in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray. Family flowers only by request, donations to Purple House.

Joanne McDonagh Ford (nee O’Duffy) formerly of Arklow, Avoca and Barking UK, on the 20th August 2020. Joanne passed, peacefully, after a short illness. Beloved mother of Claire, Emma and David. Devoted grandmother of Sam, Finn and Emer. Wife of the late Brendan McDonagh and Trevor Ford. Deeply regretted by her sorrowful children, grandchildren, son in law Sean, daughter in law Ruth, brother Kevin, sisters in law Teresa and Joan, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends in Ireland and England.

Noel Poynton of Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully, at home, on Tuesday 25th August, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Eileen and father of the late Kathleen. Much loved and will be greatly missed by his children Elaine, Jackie, Noel, Cherice and Austin, sisters Ann and Marie, brother John, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his ten grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his large circle of friends.
On Friday, 28th August, Noel’s cortege will travel to the church via his beloved Bray Harbour, arriving at 11.10am and from there via Bray Seafront, arriving at the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray at 11.30am for a private Funeral Mass for family and close friends, which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/brayqueenofpeace.
The burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Little Bray at 1.00pm approx. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the RNLI.

Sheehan, Coolgreaney Park, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, 22nd August 2020, suddenly at home, Jimmy, beloved husband of Mairead (née Synnott), adored father of Stephanie and Samantha, loving son of Eileen (née Hayden) and the late Jim, treasured brother of Mick, Larry, Mary, Joe, Catherine, Bernie, Brendan, Eileen and Lorraine. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren Jake and Conor, mother, brothers, sisters, mother-in-law Marie, Stephanie’s partner Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncle Simon, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.
We appreciate all the love and support from our family and friends. As we are legally bound, to follow the guidelines set out for us by government, it is necessary for our beloved Jimmy to have a private funeral, if you wish you can join in the celebration of his funeral Mass at 10am on Friday morning from The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow via http://www.arklowparish.ie/webcam/.
