REST IN PEACE: Wicklow Death Notices

James (Jim) CARROLL

James (Jim) Carroll, Bray, Co. Wicklow. January 10th, 2020. Peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of the doctors, nurses, carers and staff of St. Patrick’s Ward, St. Vincent’s University Hospital and previously in the wonderful care of Bray Home Carers. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Claire, daughter Gemma, son-in-law Enda, sisters-in-law Vera, Rosemary and Kitty, brother-in-law Ronald, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, brothers Paddy, Jack, Nick, George, Brendan and Owen and sister Nancy.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray on Sunday evening, January 12th, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10.30 o’clock in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray followed by interment in Kilquade New Cemetery.

John (Seán) Chambers, Barrack Street, Dundalk and formerly of Kilkerley, Co. Louth, and Delgany, Co. Wicklow. Suddenly on 11th January 2020. John loving father of Dorothy and Paul, granddad of Oran, Moya and Ava, husband of Ann, brother of Theresa, Catherine, Josephine and Frances and father in law of Terry and Elaine. John be sadly missed by his son, daughter, grandchildren, wife, son in law, daughter in law, sisters, brother in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Pat “Diddles” McCoy of Enniskerry and Carnew, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Donnybrook, Dublin 4, passed away peacefully on Friday, 10th January 2020, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, almost four weeks after the death of his brother Noel. He will be sadly missed by Martina, his children Sylvia, David, Paul, Keith, Colin and their mother Liz, daughters-in-law Sheena and Debbie, grandchildren Brett, Alexander and Robyn, Matthew, Jake and Kian, siblings Joe, Kathleen, Marie and Frances and by his extended family and friends especially Emmett.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Tuesday (Jan. 14) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, with prayers at 6.30pm. Removal from the funeral home on Wednesday morning (Jan. 15) at 10.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Enniskerry, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in Curtlestown Cemetery.

Denis Joseph (Don) O’Moore of Greystones & formerly Strand Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow, January 10th, 2020, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Elm Green Nursing Home, Castleknock. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (née Byrne) Deeply regretted by his children, Denise, Fergal and Leonie, daughter-in-law Maria, son-in-law Andy, Denise’s partner Mike, grandchildren Cian and Luke, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends. Reposing at her home on Sunday from 2.00pm. Removal on Monday to St. Brigid’s Church, Manor Kilbride, arriving for 11.00am. Funeral Mass followed by burial in Manor Kilbride Cemetery.
