REST IN PEACE: Wicklow Death Notices

Caitriona O’Connell, (Glenealy, Co. Wicklow) 20th January 2020, unexpectedly, at home. Beloved eldest daughter of Celine and the late Kevin J., Caitriona will be sadly missed by Karl, mother, sisters and brothers, brothers and sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, her beloved nieces, friends, colleagues in RTE and her kind and caring neighbours in Glenealy.

Caitriona will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) Friday evening form 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Private cremation will take place on Saturday.

Coolkenno, Tullow, Carlow / Wicklow

The death has occurred of Luke Oliver Hunt, Coolkenno, Tullow, Co. Carlow. Suddenly, in his 43rd year. Sadly missed by his loving parents P and Maureen, brothers Seamus, Michael and Peter, sister in-laws Sissy and Siobhan, brother-in-law Brian, his nieces and nephews Killian, Seamus, Leah, Liam, Aaron and Molly, aunts, uncles, relatives and his large circle of friends.

Reposing in his parents’ home, Coolkenno (Eircode R93 T382) on Friday with rosary at 9pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am, to arrive at St. Finian’s Church, Kilquiggan, for 11am Requiem Mass. Cremation to follow in Mount Jerome Crematorium (Eircode D6W HY98) at 3pm. Family flowers only. House private Saturday morning, please.

Margaret McHUGH (née Fitzsimons)
Bentley Park, Bray, Wicklow / Drimnagh, Dublin 

Margaret McHugh (née Fitzsimons) of Bentley Park, Bray and formerly of Drimnagh,Dublin 12, slipped away very peacefully, on Tuesday 21st January 2020, in her 93rd year, in the excellent care of Kinvara House, Bray. Beloved wife of the late Paddy and sister of the late Sheila and Michael. A wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be forever missed by her children Pauline, Rita and P.J., sons-in-law David and Dermot, daughter-in-law Anne Marie, her 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother Tommy, sister Ena, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (Jan.23) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, with prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (Jan.24) at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice.

Margaret Ronan ( née Dunne ) St. Manntan’s Park, Wicklow Town, 21st January 2020, peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Loving wife of the late Martin ( Marty ) and loving mother of the late Marty. Sadly missed by her loving son Darren, daughter Stevie, brothers Tommy, Kit, Billy, Mick, James, Robert, Joe and Toby, sisters Mary, Cissie and Helen, son-in-law John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Oscar, Julia and Charlie, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
