REST IN PEACE: Wicklow Death Notices

O’BRIEN Ann (Tara, Lower Dargle Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow) – January 24, 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at the Blackrock Hospice, after an illness fought with great courage and dignity. Beloved daughter of the late William (Billy) and Mary (Maisie), sister of the late Liam, sister-in-law of the late Marie and much loved aunt of Dian and Catherine; she will be sadly missed by all her family, friends, neighbours and her sisters that she got to choose throughout her life.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Tuesday evening (Jan.28) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, with prayers at 6.30pm. Removal from the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10.30am, walking to St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Perrem, Johnny – January 24, 2020 (Raheny and formerly of Waterford and Greystones) peacefully after a long illness, in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette and Children Nathan and Lucy and their mother Joan, son-in-law Colin and daughter-in-law Kelly, step children and partners Darragh, Aoife, Sinéad, Órlaith, Ji, Ken and Dave, grandchildren, Nessa, Ellie, Zoe, Daniel John, Robyn and Liah, brothers and sisters Tony, Michael, Peter, Dee, Tom, Ann and Barbara, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock on Sunday 26th January from 12am to 4pm. Removal on Monday morning to Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, Church, Raheny arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass, followed with Burial in Balgriffin Cemetery Extension. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

WHELAN Michael (Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, former Headmaster, Sandford Park School, Dublin) – Jan. 23, 2020, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the Stroke Team at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, loving husband of Ann, devoted father of Sandra and Lesley-Ann, father-in-law of Barney and Stuart, beloved grandfather of Bethany, Zoë, James, Alex, Mina and Seb and brother of Leslie, Helena and Declan; he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and former pupils.
