McNamara Austin, Knockmore, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Balbriggan and Iveagh Gardens, Dublin, Seven Kings, Essex. 15th December 2019, surrounded by his loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Austin beloved husband of Carmel (née Kenna) and loving father of Justin, Noelle and Nicola, adored grandad of Ellana, Tomas, Jack and Aurelia, dearly loved brother of Greta, Angela, Sean, Martin and the late Marmo, Marie, Vic and Stephen. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, sisters, brothers, daughter-in-law Giedre, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbours and a large circle of relatives and friends in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Austin will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home Thursday from 3pm, with removal at 6.30pm to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass Friday at 10am, followed by cremation service at 1.30pm in Mount Jerome Crematorium Harold’s Cross, Dublin, D6W HY98. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.


Balally, Dublin / Bray, Wicklow

O’BRIEN, Colin, – (Garda Síochána) (Balally and late of Bray, Co. Wicklow). December 16, 2019, (peacefully), in the tender care of all the staff in the Cara Ward at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Much loved dad of Lisa and Andrew. He will be very sadly missed by loving children, partner Jojo, wife Lilian, parents Máire and Bill, brothers John and Dermot, sisters-in-law Evelyn and Linda, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues, many friends and neighbours.

David Sykes of Newcastle, Co. Wicklow, died suddenly at his home on Saturday 14th December 2019, beloved husband of Ruth (née McKim, formerly Sutton) and the late Marie (née Quinlan), loving father of Sharron, stepfather of Helen, Sheila and Brian and cherished Gramps of Rioghnach, Odhrán, Bryanna, Sadhbh, Aoife, Conor, Ronan and Barra; he will be sadly missed by his family, his brother John, sisters-in-law Joan and Irene, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Removal from Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Friday morning (Dec. 20) at 11.30am to Newcastle Parish Church, Co. Wicklow arriving for Funeral Service at 12.30pm followed by burial in Dean’s Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Wicklow Town, Wicklow

Dora Gault (née Knowles) of Summerhill in Wicklow Town who passed away 16th December 2019 peacefully in the loving care of Blainroe Lodge, Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Robert and much loved mother of Andrew and Georgina. Sadly missed by her grandson Joseph, sister Kathleen, brother Michael, extended family and friends.

Dora will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 6pm until 7pm on Wednesday. Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Thursday morning for 10am funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.

Thomas Kelly of Monteith Park, Kilcoole who passed away 16th December 2019 peacefully in the presence of his family at the Atlanta House, Nursing Home, Bray. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Marie and much loved and loving father of Yvonne, Sarah, Ian, Mary, Richard and the late Martin. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Noel, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Thomas will repose at the family home from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday evening. Removal on Wednesday morning at 11.15am at walking pace to St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole arriving for funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by interment in Kilquade New Cemetery.

Maguire, Declan. Eden Gate, Delgany, Wicklow, late of Granitefield, Dublin, December 14, 2019 peacefully at St. Vincents University Hospital, Dublin after a short illness. Deeply missed by his loving wife Joy, sons Senan and Ultan, mother & father, Anne & Paddy, sister Eleanor, in-laws Eileen, Erica and Eoin, nephew Cameron, cousins, relatives, many friends and colleagues.
