REST IN PEACE: Wicklow Death Notices

Peacefully, at Dunlavin Nursing Home, predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary, her sisters Brigid and Marion, and her brothers Patrick and Cathal. Deeply mourned by her sister Ann and brother Peadar, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to current government restrictions a private family Funeral Mass will take place in St. Joseph’s Church, Baltinglass, on Thursday (live streaming available at 12 noon from St. Paul’s Oratory, Baltinglass Parish webcam), with burial afterwards in Cranerin Cemetery, via Kiltegan, Highpark, Killamoat and Rathdangan. Condolences may be expressed through the condolence section on RIP.ie.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date in Killamoat Church.

Gerald Francis Fallon of Greystones, Co. Wicklow, May 10th 2020, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Greystones Nursing Home. Remembered with love by his beloved wife Peggy (née Roache) for 63 wonderful years, children Ailbhe, Paraic, Sinéad, Bairbre, Hélène, Domhnall & Rachel, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family & large circle of friends.

Due to the recent HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Gerald Francis Fallon will be held in private at Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, at 1pm on Friday May 15th. The funeral will be streamed live on the church webcam http://www.greystonesparish.ie

Derek GING
Bray/Greystones

Peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff of Ratoath Manor Nursing Home. Derek was a kind and loving brother who will be sadly missed by his brothers Morty and Ken, his sister Val, relatives and friends.

In line with current restrictions, a private funeral will take place for Derek.

Martin MURPHY
Seacliff, Wicklow Town/Cabinteely, Dublin

Murphy, Martin Joseph ( Seacliff, Wicklow,formerly of Woodlands Road, Cabinteely, Co. Dublin and Ballymitty, Co. Wexford, ex Commissioners of Irish Lights). Following a long illness , fought with courage and grace, Martin passed away peacefully at home in the loving arms of his darling wife Ann, surrounded by his adoring children, Barbara, Jean, Suzann, Alan, Brian, baby Martin (deceased) and Anna Marie, with beautiful care from the Wicklow Palliative Care Team.Much loved Papa to his sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren . Very sadly missed by sons-in-law Matt and Brian, daughters-in-law Linda and Nicki, sister Maureen, his brothers Paddy and Willie ( also brother of the late Tommy), extended family and his large circle of friends, including those at Wicklow Golf Club and St. Patrick’s Bowls Club.

Due to Government restrictions, a private family service will take place on Friday 15th May. Martin’s funeral cortege will leave his home at approximately 2.30 pm. A memorial service to celebrate Martin’s life will be held at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Wicklow Cancer Support.
