Duffy (née Cooper), Lamberton Grove, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Aughrim Street, Dublin, 1st June 2020, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice (Betty), dearly loved wife of the late Joe and loving mother of Frank, Susan and Kevin, sister of the late Marie, Joan and Shirley. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, grandchildren Sarah, Fiona, Joseph, Gráinne, Suzi, Ellen and Eva, great-grandchildren Ethan, Caoimhe and Ailbhe, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Sandra and Deirdre, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

We appreciate all the love and support from our family and friends, but as we are legally bound to follow the guidelines set out for us by government, it is necessary for our beloved Beatrice to have a private funeral. Peacefully at her son Brendan’s residence, in her 98th year. Joan, predeceased by her husband Tom & brothers Pat & David, sister Sheila. Beloved mother of Rory, Maeve, Kevin, Brendan & Aidan. Sadly missed by her loving Sons, Daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her son Brendan’s residence on Wednesday evening. Funeral will arrive to the Church Of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Enniscrone, on Thursday morning for 11am requiem Mass, with funeral proceeding to Lakelands Crematorium. Due to Government and HSE guidelines, Joan’s funeral Mass and family home will be private for family and friends. Funeral mass can be viewed live on churchtv.ie
