Sky high sponsorship: Local firm comes on board to support Gavin Glynn Foundation
A local plant hire company has come up with a novel way of helping The Gavin Glynn Foundation (TGGF) by branding its equipment in the charity’s colours.
Gaelic Plant Hire/ELEV8 Platform Hire will also donate all the rental income for the new boom lift for 12 months to TGGF.
And in a triple boost for TGGF, manufacturing company SKYJACK that supplied the new boom lift, the first to be manufactured in their factory in Hungary, agreed to match that rental and donate the same amount!
Gavin Glynn from Greystones passed away from cancer in 2014 aged four after battling cancer and his parents set up TGGF in his honour to help children suffering from the disease.
Keith Manning of Gaelic Plant Hire/ELEV8 Platform Hire and John Glynn have been friends since attending school in Presentation College Bray and Keith had been keen to support TGGF after his own brother Darrell passed away from cancer in 2011.
“The Glynn Foundation are delighted to announce our charity partnership with Gaelic Plant Hire/ELEV8 Platform Hire for 2019/2020,” John Glynn told WicklowNow.ie.
