‘Stay safe and ring if you need us’ – Wicklow Cancer Support group closes office

The Wicklow Cancer Support Group has closed its local office in response to the emergency measures to combat the spread of Covid-19.

However, the group has urged any patients who have any needs or worries to contact the office directly.

They said in a statement: “Our Centre is now closed to the Public due to COVD-19. If you need to contact us please call 0404-32696 or email us at wicklowcancersupport@gmail.com.

“We will continue to run our Transport Service to and from Dublin Hospitals as usual.

“Huge thanks to our Volunteer Drivers who are willing to continue their very important work. To all our Cancer Patients – stay safe and ring if you have any needs or worries at all.”

Meanwhile, the group also confirmed the following events have been postponed until the crisis passes:
*The VHI Womens Mini Marathon;
*East Coast Coffee Morning;
*Easter Soccer Blitz.

The group added: “Stay safe everyone and keep looking out for one another.”
