Talented local soccer starlets complete moves to Premiership side
Two talented Bray Wanderers soccer stars have played their final game for the club after they completed moves to Premier League side Brighton.
Andrew Moran (pictured above playing for Republic of Ireland Under-16 side) Leigh Kavanagh have played their final games for the Seagulls after formally completing their transfers to the English side.
The teenage starlets both both signed pre-contract agreements with Brighton before the start of the League of Ireland First Division season.
The highly rated duo officially became Brighton players on July 1 and are therefore not eligible to play any more games before they go across the water.
They are currently training with Bray due to Covid-19 restrictions, but it is understood that they will leave for England before the end of this month, the Irish Independent reports.
Midfielder Moran became Bray’s youngest ever player at 15 years and 307 days when he made his debut last August. Centre-half Kavanagh (16) also featured in that game.
The talented pair are both products of the St Joseph’s Boys-Bray academy.
