The bodies of three children – two boys and a girl – have been discovered in a house in Dublin.
The children, all believed to be under 10 years of age, were found in a house at Parson’s Court in Newcastle in west Dublin.
A woman in her 40s, believed to their mother, has been taken to Tallaght Hospital, following the discovery shortly after 7pm when Gardaí were called to the scene.
When Gardai arrived they initially discovered a woman on the street in a disorientated state before finding the three bodies inside.
The scene has been preserved and the Office of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau has been informed. It is understood a note may have been found at the scene.
