WEATHER ALERT: Hair we go again! Wicklow issued with yet another wind warning

Wicklow has been issued with yet another weather warning from Met Éireann.

It is one of eight counties that have been issued with four separate weather warnings. The other affected counties are Kerry, Cork, Wexford, Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Waterford.

Two Status Yellow wind warnings have been issued for Wicklow, Waterford, Wexford and Cork.

The Wicklow weather warning comes into effect from 6am tomorrow and will remain in place until 4pm.

Met Éireann has forecast south to southeast winds of 50-65 km/hr and gusts of up to 90-110 km/hr, with the strongest winds expected on coasts and hills.

There is also a risk of coastal flooding around the period of high tides.
