Well done Louisa! Wicklow businesswoman named as Network Ireland president
Well-known Wicklow based businesswoman Louisa Meehan has been elected as President of Network Ireland its AGM in Dublin last weekend.
Network Ireland has 1200 members around the country and Louisa succeeds hotelier and Cork native Helen Wycherley.
Louisa is the owner of Woodview HRM in Wicklow which offers tailored Human Resource solutions and Workplace Mediation Services to companies in the SME sector.
She is also a part-time lecturer in UCD and Smurfit Graduate School of Business in the fields of HR and Organisational Behaviour and is a trainer with IBEC.
“We have the power and strength within ourselves, individually and within Network Ireland, to achieve our goals,” Louisa told Network Ireland members following her election.
“I’m particularly excited about embarking on this journey as a new decade begins. It’s a unique opportunity to look back and reflect on all we have achieved, to appreciate where we are at right now, and look ahead to an exciting future.”
Louisa is also determined to further grow Network Ireland as a valuable resource for women in business across the country and is prioritising communication and consistency between the national and branch levels of the organisation.
Leitrim native Louisa has already begun work in earnest on a hectic Presidential schedule, with one of Network Ireland’s flagship events rapidly approaching.
International Women’s Day on February 28 is a highlight of the organisation’s calendar, and an inspirational line-up of speakers is being prepared for Network Ireland’s exciting event.
