Wicklow commuters face Dart delays following mechanical faults on line
Thousands of Wicklow commuters were delayed on their way to work this morning after mechanical issues forced the delay of a rush-hour Dart.
The 07.58 Dart from Drogheda to Bray experienced issues on the line and was broken down for roughly 20 minutes but it also an effect on north bound Darts.
The issue suffered by the stricken Dart caused is causing problems with the other trains operating on that route at the time.
A statement released by Irish Rail said: “The Drogheda to Bray service is operating with a delay of 15 minutes due to earlier mechanical issues.
“Knock on delays can be expected.”
