Wicklow out of step as ‘devastated’ Sinéad exits from Dancing With The Stars
Sinéad O’Carroll has said she is ‘devastated’ following her exit from Dancing With The Stars on Sunday night.
Speaking on The Ryan Tubridy Show this morning she said she was “very disappointed as I thought I’d more to give. I’ve wanted to do the show for so long and really wanted to get to the final.”
Sinéad and her dance partner Ryan McShane were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, after facing off against Lottie Ryan and Pasquale La Rocca in the dance-off.
Greystones resident Sinéad agreed with Ryan that she Possibly danced better than some who stayed in “but it’s a personality competition so I understand that.
“The kids were devastated when I got home last night. They’re 11 and 8 so it hit them hard – they were in floods of tears.
“But it’s a learning experience for them – it’s not all about winning,” she added.
Judge Darren Bennett, who was filling in for Julian Benson, said he didn’t think either couple deserved to be in the dance-off tonight, saying they both danced “amazingly well” but when it came to making his decision, he chose to save Lottie and Pasquale.
Brian Redmond was up next and likened the decision to picking his favourite child, but also chose to save Lottie and Pasquale.
Lorraine Barry agreed with her fellow judges, before commending how well both couples danced on the night.
