SPONSORED: Independent Joe Behan: ‘I will represent the people of Wicklow to the best of my ability’
The people of County Wicklow will choose five TDs on February 8 next who will go to Dáil Éireann to represent the people in our National Parliament.
I am asking you to consider sending me as one of your representatives.
As an Independent member of Wicklow County Council, my mission is always to represent the people to the best of my ability in the challenges they face when dealing with Wicklow County Council and all other local and national bodies.
I believe passionately in giving a voice to people who have no voice and in standing up for people who have no one to defend them.
There are plenty of good candidates looking for your vote in this election and the chances are that four of the five elected will be from political parties.
While those new TDs will obviously have the best interests of the county at heart, their first loyalty will have to be to their own party.
The needs of the people of County Wicklow will always be a lesser priority. Whereas, if you elect me as an Independent TD, I will serve your best interests and not those of a party.
– Joe Behan. Independent Candidate for Wicklow.
